Stacey Woodhouse

Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Stacey Woodhouse, our CEO & Founder, is an HR professional, former military spouse, special needs advocate, and special education substitute teacher who transformed her personal challenge into a powerful mission.

Driven by her own journey navigating the complex landscape of neurodiversity with her son—from service gaps to financial hurdles—she founded SPEDucation Inc. to ensure no family walks this path alone.

Through SPEDucation Inc.’s grant-funded initiatives and micro-school model, Stacey is committed to creating inclusive, individualized educational pathways and expanding access to services that can improve outcomes for students and empower families to become effective advocates for their children.

Today, Stacey is leading our ambitious expansion to establish a new campus in Athens, Alabama, dedicated to providing these integrated therapies, quality education, and life-changing vocational services all while being financially accessible.

Kathleen unites Alabama families with vital local resources and heartfelt community events. She is dedicated to building a robust support network that wraps every child in care and hope.

A little about me—my name is Kathleen Davis. I’m a wife, a mother to two amazing girls, and a fellow veteran.

Our journey began about nine years ago when our youngest daughter, Kori, was diagnosed with developmental delays and later with Level 3 Autism Spectrum Disorder. Since then, we have navigated referrals, specialists, insurance gaps, therapy, and countless appointments. We understand firsthand just how overwhelming and frustrating that journey can feel.

Over the years, we have moved, changed schools and therapists, and experienced more changes in medical providers than we ever expected. With every move came new waitlists, new relationships to build with Kori’s care team, and new challenges to overcome. Kori has shown incredible resilience through it all, but the constant changes have not always been easy on her—or on our family.

Advocating for someone you love should never leave you feeling lost, overwhelmed, or hopeless. After Stacey and I spent countless hours sharing our own experiences and talking about the challenges families like ours face, we realized we wanted to do something more. We wanted to help other families navigate these same waters with greater support, understanding, and hope.

And that is how SPEDucation came to life.

We are beyond excited for this journey and truly grateful that you are a part of it. Most of all, we are hopeful that SPEDucation can become a place where families feel heard, supported, empowered, and reminded that they do not have to navigate this journey alone.
